Delete your account
Last updated: May 2026
You can permanently delete your RIGHTONE account and personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how, what is removed immediately, and what we may retain temporarily for safety, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
Delete from inside the app
- Open the RIGHTONE app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (tab bar).
- Scroll to Danger zone → Delete my account.
- Re-enter your password (if you signed up with email) and type DELETE to confirm.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my account”:
privacy@right-one.orgWe may ask one verification question to confirm you own the account before we proceed.
What is deleted
Once you confirm deletion, the following is permanently removed or irreversibly anonymized:

- Interests, lifestyle, faith and personality answers
- Matches, likes and passes
- Messages you sent in chat
- Event RSVPs and saved content
- Notifications and in-app preferences
- Your authentication record (email / sign-in identity)
What may be retained temporarily
To protect our community and meet legal obligations, a minimal record may be kept for a limited period after deletion. None of this is visible to other users.
- Fraud and abuse prevention signals (hashed device / phone identifiers)
- Ban, suspension and serious-violation records
- Identity-verification audit logs (without document images)
- Reports filed about your account by other members
- Records we are legally required to keep (tax, payment, lawful requests)
Timeframe
- Immediate: profile, photos and chat history disappear from the app and you are signed out.
- Within 30 days: personal data is purged from active backups.
- Within 90 days: safety, fraud-prevention and legal-retention records are erased, except where law requires longer retention.
